Pianist & Composer
neoclassical piano music
Jeroen discovered music when he was given an old organ at the age of 7. He was so fascinated by it that his great love of music was born. The organ was exchanged for a keyboard and later the piano. He graduated from the Conservatory of improvised music and set up his own music school Toonaangevend. In recent years Jeroen has been writing piano compositions in a neo-classical style inspired by such various composers as Frederic Chopin and Ludovico Einaudi. Now he writes his own relaxing piano music. "I can't send it. A new composition is created when it simply rolls out of your fingers". Jeroen hardly ever listens to lyrics but melodies fascinate him. Music was and stays his first love.
New Album | HOME
HOME is the title of his debut solo piano album. Whereas teaching and performing music are his great passions, this album conveys the very essence of his being. Writing the neoclassical piano music for HOME provided him with enormous satisfaction and enriched his soul. For him, creating melodies alone at the piano is making music in its purest form and he couldn't be prouder of the finished result. HOME will be released at September 15th. You can pre-order this album here.
